WILLIAM SULLO SR.
FOUNDER
Bill began his career as a teenager as a car mechanic then enlisted in the Army Reserve serving in the Motor pool. He then joined the operating engineers. He changed careers and started working on firetrucks in the 1980's and loved it. In 1990, he founded First Line Emergency Services, Inc. He built the business up over the next 30 years and was well known throughout the state for his superior services repairing emergency vehicles, attention to detail and his exceptional work ethic.
JOHN SULLO
OWNER
During his early years, John worked along the side of his father. Here, he learned and developed a great passion for working on emergency vehicles. He took over First Line in July of 2020 and has since grown and expanded beyond emergency vehicles to include light duty & passenger vehicles, as well as oil trucks,
tri-axles, and other heavy duty
vehicles and equipment.

TIM LITTLE
AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
Bernie started out his career as a teenager in his family’s automotive repair garage and went on to work at Detroit Diesel Allison and was a part of their fire apparatus repair division. He then went on to run his own fire apparatus repair business for over 12 years where he became factory certified and trained through both Hale & Waterous fire pumps.
Having since retired from the Hamden fire department as a third-generation firefighter, he held ranks of Pump operator, Lieutenant, and Captain and also worked in the apparatus repair division & currently holds multiple EVT certifications.
Tim is a well-trained diesel technician with over 10 years of experience and a certification in air brakes. Tim has gained a vast amount of knowledge throughout his career and is efficient with Mack, Volvo, various triaxle dump trucks and heavy hydraulic equipment. His troubleshooting skills enable him to both identify and fix problems found in complex hydraulic and mechanical systems.
JAMES NATALE
SHOP FOREMAN
James is a seasoned automotive technician with over 15 years in the field. Specific expertise in electrical, mechanical & on board computer diagnostics. James spent his early career in a light duty automotive shop becoming proficient with all factory diagnostic tools & programming of vehicles. Since joining First Line he has continued focusing his learning towards the heavy duty and diesel side becoming proficient in CAT, Cummins & Detroit.
DANIEL SILCHOK
AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
From a young age Daniel was always around his parents trucking business, tinkering with whatever parts he could get his hands on. He then went on to becoming the experienced automotive technician he is today. Over the last 8 years of his professional career, Dan has worked performing general maintenance of passenger vehicles and light duty trucks, from there he began working on performance vehicles, building engines and working the dyno. Dan holds certifications in Audi, Porsche & Volkswagen.
MIKE WITKOWSKI
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Mike has been in the automotive administration for 20 years and holds a great amount of extensive experience. Mike takes great care of each and every customer by ensuring they receive high quality services. He also holds a certification for ASE Heavy Duty Parts.
